Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office setting. Your role will involve greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing processes
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in medical administration is a plus
- Proven experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
